This friend of mine was so keen to show me his body, dont know why....
He had henna tattooed all over his upper body for a joke and i wanted to see the back, where most of it was, so he texted pictures over to me of his back
Then he kept asking me if i wanted to see his abs....i wasnt that interested but he kept asking me so then i said yes, and he sent another pic over....(no henna in this area)
My question is, do all guys love to broadcast their bodies like this or is he just showing off? (he hasnt got much reason to show off)
I think i should mention that he's got a great personality too - not all just looks.

yeah pretty much, if he thinks he has a nice body, he just wants reaffirmation that other people think he does too.

Is this only an online friendship????Do you know him personally?As in, you've known him for years, etc? I now am very skeptical of online friends, whatever that means anyways. I would say that he needs to respect the fact that if you make it clear, you don't want to see his pics or any parts of his body, then that is that. If he continues to, then I would end the friendship for to me, he is then not respecting boundaries you have put up. I think that it may just be innocent in his case, don't know your ages, but you know what? If there is a friendship, or a possibility of a relationship, then I would try to keep it more talking on the phone or seeing each other face to face. It just seems a little weird to me but then again, maybe I am just older, didn't grow up with computer technology and having friends, best friends online. I don't think it's right at all. Just my opinion, just please be careful, there are a lot of crazy people in this world!!!

he's just flirting with you, flirt back till her makes you feel uncomfortable. If he's already at that point talk to him, if he's your friend you should be able to, and ask him what he's doing. My best friend, very randomly he mentioned how he's got a large penis, I didn't know what to do about it, I jokingly said how I don't want a big guy and its not like that means they know how to use it....nothing like that has happened since, so I've let it go, maybe try doing the same. If you like him, or find your attracted to him, let him know that you like him, he probably has some stronger feelings about you then you think. Guys like getting compliments from girls about how hot they look, cause they never get it from their guy friends, I would just probably ignore it and move on.

Yes, completely normal if a guy has a great body, or rather thinks he has a great body he will broadcast it freely on profiles, pictures etc...just for admiration and reaffirmation. Basically wants to show off, if you've got it flaunt it! its more true for men than it is for women!

Yeah he's obsessed with his body and just wants to show off to you. He might think he's being sexy or something. But if your not interested in him in that way then make sure you keep it clear to him that your just friends.

This seems normal. People who get new tatoos or develop muscles enjoy showing them to others. It's part of revealing one's own unique identity. As long as he keeps it clean and doesn't start taking off all his clothes, he's ok.

well,my friend loves to show me his body any chance he gets.once in english he lifted up his shirt and me and no one was supposed to know but me,and everyone clapped.it was hilarious.but,i dont know about your friend.sorry.memories
