Hi, it would help if we knew where you are. It could really be hot there this time of year. Taking a cool, refreshing shower always helps. Twice a day is fine. Hope this helps. You may also want to have your blood pressure measured. Usually, people predisposed to high blood pressure tend to feel oppressed by the heat no matter how mild it is.

Find a body of water and jump in. Clothing optional.
Try turning on the air conditioning. If you have no a/c, then go shopping for an a/c unit. you don't have to buy one, but you can stand in front of them for hours before being asked to leave. At this point, wearing clothes is not optional, and could hasten the pace to which you are asked to leave ;-)

Hold a cold can of something against the pulse point in your neck. Seems to work faster than running your wrists under a tap

Hmm. What I do is:
* Eat a tip top or something really cold
* Buy a fan?
If you're on your own, just take your clothes off.

Actually, although it sounds counter logical have a hot drink. By slightly raising your body temperature it actually has the effect of making you feel cooler.
