Davey Jones, Mickey Dolenz, Mike Nesmith, Peter York. And does anyone know what any of them are doing today?

Do I remember The Monkees? I saw Davy Jones as the Artful Dodger in "Oliver!" on Broadway...before he was in The Monkees. Thanks for making me feel old.

I LOVE the Monkees. Do I know what they are doing today? Well not sure Mickey Dolenz has a Daughter in films but him I belive with Davy went to broadway for a while Peter still has a band and plays music Mike is in the music and movie business as a producer. Mike was the only one who never had to work in the first place, his mom invented liquid paper.

Heh- I JUST mentioned them like, 30 seconds ago in another post....
I used to watch the re-runs in the 70s.
Mickey recently got let go from a radio show in NY, Davey is seen on vh1 & I guess does notalgia tours/appearances, Peter I think left music& teaches now, & Mike does the odd album once in a blue moon.

Hey, hey, we're the Monkees...! what a fun show! Davey Jones does celebrity appearances. Mike is doing production work. Mickey, I dunno and Peter either. He sort of dissappeared. Didn't he have a drug problem? Probably if you google them you'd get a better answer.

i totally remember... well, maybe not them new, but i even watched the show in reruns in the 80's. michael nesmith still writes songs... he used to write with linda rondstat a lot (i think it was her, or someone like her) as for the others... i don't know. making royalties, i got a great 3 disc best of last year.

Peter Tork is his last name. I loved when MTV played their shows over and over. They are a very bunch of hysterical entertainers. I have no idea what they are doing now. There are some good answers below.

well, duh..and that's peter tork. they really were influential in pop culture although not necessarily for their music. i mean, they hung out with frank zappa.who by the way was on their show once. they turned a lot of teeny-boppers on to a lot of good music
