While trying to burn a music CD, I found a used CD on the stack of what should have been blank CDs. It that has nude and pornographic pics of my daughter, age 21. Most were just of her, some where of her boyfriend, some had both of them (I don't know who took those). They were taken in our house and at her boyfriends house.
Should I talk to her about it? Should I tell my wife about it? Should I just destroy the disk?

Don't say anything - just destroy it

As long as your daughter isn't being forced to do anything against her will, and she's above 18, there is nothing you can do about it. You can try and talk to your daughter about it (actually, I'm sure she'd appreciate having that CD back) but don't expect her behavior to change 'just because Daddy says so.'
Now, you CAN tell her you don't want her doing this kind of stuff IN YOUR HOUSE, but from the sound of things, finding an alternate location shouldn't be a problem for her.

she is 21 which makes her a legal adult and responsible for her own actions. She will think you was snooping to and that it wasn't an accident that you found them. If you don't want it going on in your house then just destroy the CD she will get the picture(no pun intended)

Stop and take a deep breath. I know it's your "little girl," but she's grown up now. That's kinda hard to reckon with sometimes. But it's true. I would give her the CD, but I wouldn't ask for an explanation. If you don't want her having sex in your house, I'd say something about that. Otherwise, there's nothing to be said.

If she is still financially dependent on you, especially if she is living in your house, and you are really offended by this, you have the right to (in addition to handing it back to her) to ask her not to do this activity in your household, to wait until she has her own place and is an emancipated adult. Let her know that you consider it careless and inconsiderate to have allowed this to be found.

It is rough realizing that your children are sexual beings, regardless of the age (and in this way must have been most painful), almost as hard as imagining your parents having sex!

Talk to her about it, dont tell the wife and destroy the disk. If she wants to be a responsible adult, tell her to act like it and keep these things private instead of leaving it lying around for you to find. It certainly isnt anything you wanted to see.

Just hand her the CD,I'm sure she'll be pretty embarrassed and she'll think twice before doing that again.I don't think u should really tell her anything knowing u saw it will scar her for life. I know that how i would feel if my dad saw something like that.

I wouldnt tell the wife, she doesnt want to see that either and it just doubles the embarrassment. Give her back the cd and she'll get the idea.

She's 21. I'd just tell her to make sure her "personal photo disks" aren't left where daddy can find them. She'll probably be embarrassed and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Oh my... I must say, you are taking this matter really calm and composed in manner. If I were to find it, I wouldnt bother even speaking first... In my culture, it is a couple of tight slaps, show her the disk, ask her why she did it, and if it is publicised already on some porn website, throw her out of the house. If not, tell her to discard all evidence..... You have no Idea how much people talk out there behind your back, especially if you dont have a dodgy family background and people are jsut waiting to find an excuse. Sorry for this harshness, but it has to be lack of discipline that make kids succumb to these kind of activity.
