honey, you didnot gain extra water weight from an IV. Get that idea out of your head. If your body is retaining water and you were given an iv then you are probably boderline dehydrated. You need to drink lots of water and get your fluids back up. Only then will your body release water and you can then get your ring off.

It doesn't take long to lose water weight. A couple of days. Besides, an IV wouldn't have that much of an affect on your wieght. Unless they gave you about eight 1 liter bags, in whcih they shouldn't have. Have you tried warm soapy water to get your ring off?

Unless you have a medical reason for retaining fluid, once your body detects excess fluid, you will pee it out. You wont get over loaded with a few IV's even if they run 3-4 a day thru you cause you will pee it out.
