From a professional stand point. I would tell you to start going now. Even at 13 you need a pap smear, and breast exam. Most people think you don't need to go until you are sexually active. But that is not true.

i was told that u should start going to the gyno when u start having sex or 18 whichever comes first. 13 is a completly normal age to start ur period

Anytime now would be a good time, esspecially if u are sexually active.. Just pick a day during the week that is good for you, and go get it done :) after that you only need to do it once a year. Its not that bad, it sounds kinda scary, (well at least it did for me)... But you'll be fine :)

Most people say to wait until you are getting birth control, or are sexually active. If you are going through anything that upsets you, or you don't think is normal, then go ahead and go to the Dr.

1. When you first have a sexual experience.
2. When you turn eighteen.
Right now you don't have a reason to go, but if you do then talk to your mom and she can take you, if you aren't comfortable with that.....go to your nearest Planned Parenthood....which you shouldn't need to go to but just in case.....if you would feel more comfortable then go there.

I went after my first period. Although you are not supposed to have a pap until after sexual experience, I have had one every year no matter what. It is good practice and precaution.

Talk it over with your mother and doctor. If you are sexually active, you should start going every year. If not you can probably wait until you are abour 16/17.

If you are still are a virgin (hope you still are) then there's no need to see a gyno. You can still go to your pediatrician for now.

Usually at age 16 or just after the first time you've had sex. You can go to Plannedparenthood also.
