I just find it strange after all that he had done. Out of all of the poisonous snakes and crocs that he messed with a (supposed to be) docile animal like the sting ray brought his life to an end. IT is very sad to see such a young man pass away.

I'm very sad about that. What an amazing guy he was!! I loved his show. I used to watch him do incredible things and think to myself "wow, he's immortal or something!" until today when I found out he actually died! I was shocked. Well, I know many people will miss him and his funny jokes and such...not to mention his knowledge about poisonous creatures and other often dangerous animals. May he rest in peace.

Just read the news...I am deeply shocked and saddened...Steve was a daredevil, but he also brought a great deal of knowledge to his shows that he shared with his wonderful sense of adventure and humour...he will be missed. Deepest condolences to his family.

Me, I'm gonna miss him. I loved his show and used to watch it all the time. I was shocked to hear that he died this morning, he seemed invicible. At least he died doing what he loved though.

I feel so bad for Terri and the kids.

RIP Steve

While I do feel bad that his children now have no father,

I hope his death means the end of stupid tv programs where idiot's tempt fate by doing stupid things like swimming with sharks, wrestling alligators, trying to mile cobra's, etc.

Such a high profile death of some IDIOT doing something he SHOULDN'T be doing might curb FUTURE idiots from the same thing. Now, if only johnny knoxville would get his head ripped off by trying to jackoff a bull or something, the world would be a better place.

I feel bad for his family and children, it's hard to hear about anyone dying, but it was kind of bound to happen with him always putting his @$s on the line with all those crazy animals.

I was never a big fan, but it's sad. It's kind of cool though that he died doing exactly what made him happy. Most people couldn't say that.
