or just comfortably numb? which is the best version, pink floyd's original or scissor sisters camp disco take on this beautiful song?
i love both actually, depending on my mood, but if i am feeling as beat as i did this afternoon, the floyd's version is just out of this world.

Actually I am. I am just recovering from a cesarian section to have my baby and I had an epidural for it so I am definitely comfortably numb.

Mr Gilmore's original version is by far the best as it gives meaning to the lyrics where as although the Scissor Sisters version is catchy it's up beat rythm looses the original concept of the song. But, in it's defence the Scissor Sisters version has opened up interest for people in Pink Floyd which can only be seen as a plus.

I think no one can beat Floyd, although the scissor sisters did try, they will have to go another 20 years before they can rival the masters.

Any live Floyd rendition is good. Scissor sisters cover was an insult.
