Scary at first. The group I was with (five of us in all) had always been together since we were very young. The music seem to come natural for all of us. We did an audition for a musical we were trying out for in in Junior High, Godspell. Everyone was nervous at first, but we nailed the audition and did most of the main music for the play. We had been together a long time until our keyboard player, Justy, passed away in 2004, and our drummer, Arafel, passed away this year.

wow.

my first audition was 15 years ago...I auditioned for Pirates of Panzance. I got in and went through the whole rehearsing process...then about 6 days before we went on I came down with Pinkeye...and they kicked me out.

then about a year later...I seen an audition in the local paper for "Annie" I auditioned again...and got in again. I didnt stop acting in local theatre after that for another 14 years...

I played everything from a "Bum on the street" to a Nurse in a mental hospital.

I do movies now...but that first audition was a while ago.

Wow...that's going waaaaaaay back. I think it was in 8th grade, and I was auditioning for "Arsenic and Old Lace." We read some stuff in front of the class (it was called the "Curtain Call Club" at my school), and then the "finalists" for each role had to step outside while the group voted.

The three of us came back in, and they told me that I had been cast in the role of Teddy Brewster. My first play, and still one of my favorite theatre memories.

Hmm, I had to audition for the first time in college to get into a choir, and apparently I sang flat so the choir director said I ought to record the singing and listen to it to see how to get better. Luckily he let me in anyway.
