No where in the USA. I love koalas just as much and was just a few inches away from one at the San Francisco Zoo when they pull them off the trees at closing time to bring them to their enclosure. Only in Australia can you hold a koala and even take a picture with them.

that is very sweet of you to think of her dream-probably call alocal zoo and ask perhaps she could watch them up close during feeding times ....if they are too aggressive or go to a talk by zoo workers or other experts about them and she may appreciate that as much esp if they are too aggressive or dangerous she would undersand it more and accept that. Maybe plan for a trip to Austrailia after some time of saving up?

call a zoo, but they probably won't let you because koala's are aggressive and don't like noise.
