If there was some way to gain the ability to transform yourself between any and all forms, would you take it?

A massive oak tree in a far away untouched part of the earth..Where I'd look over the clouds of mist for thousands and thousands of years..Ahhhh peace and tranquility ..before some b*****d comes along and chops me up for Ikea furniture...
