When you say certified, do you mean you paid for the truck with certified funds (like a bank check) or that the dealer sold it as a certified vehicle? Did you buy the truck from a dealer, or a private seller?

If you bought the truck from a private owner, it was an as is sale, with no warranty, unless the seller gave you a written warranty (not likely). If you bought from a dealer, they may or may not have given you a limited warranty, which would have a time and mileage limitation.

If the truck is covered within a warranty period, the dealer would have to do the repairs that are covered under the warranty. If you bought the truck "AS-IS" or you have exceeded the time or mileage of the warranty, you are going to have to pay for the repairs yourself.

Did you have the truck checked out buy your own qualified mechanic prior to purchase? If not, why not? When you buy a used vehicle, you have to pay for any and all repairs that are not covered under a warranty. Sorry, but there is no one liable for your problem, you will have to pay for your own repairs!!!

If it's certified then you have a warranty. Take it back where you bought it.
