According to NIKE's shoe sales report for the last fiscal year, the following sizes were the biggest sellers, in descending order:
10, 10.5, 9.5, 11, 9, 11.5, 8.5, 12, 8, 7.5, 12.5, 13, 7.
This won't give you the average male shoe size, but you can clearly see that the most popular shoe sizes are sizes 9-11.

I think the average shoe size is smaller than what people are saying.
the ave height is 5'8''
so my guess is somewhere around 9

purely way i ought to reply is by technique of hitting the answer button. I'm 5'8 length 10 yet my ft are huge to boot as my fingers. My dad became about that length too. yet my dad turned right into slightly taller like 2 inches taller.

there is no average shoes size..but they say bigger the shoe bigger in the pants.
