i am 39 weeks does this really work when it comes to starting labor????

According to this excerpt, it doesn't mention anything but it's "calming" effect. I think someone might be a little off base.

NO- labor will begin when baby is ready and it is beyond our control.

i dont believe anything...i was 41 wks and i tried everything...nothing works but time....or a doctors intervention
