above my lip is very dry red skin i got overnight, and to the side of the lip is the same thing. there seems to be small pimples in the center of the dry red skin. i put vaseline on it and it makes it worse. i cant use soap.. is there something that i sure to make this go away a.s.a.p?! thanks alot!

Sounds and looks like a possible case of what is called impetigo; and it looks like it could be the beginning stages. You ought to visit your doctor for a definite diagnosis, and they can then prescribe the appropriate medication (which is topical in most cases) for this. If it is impetigo, it is very easily taken care of with a topical medication. But if it is, and you let it go too long before seeing the doctor...more extreme measures might have to be taken as far as oral medication.

It might be a case of Herpies Simplex 1. They not only come up as cold sores, they also come up as rashes around the lip. It's really nothing to worry about as long as you take care of it. Go have it checked out with your doctor.

Is it like a coldsore, try using a chap stick if not let it heal on it's own, it needs to dry up :D:D Hope this helps :D:D

u just breathe threw ur mouth when u sleep. i know vasalene makes it worse when u start out but try vasalene for a week and they should heal
