No one is innocent...
A twit is a twit. One SHOULD know it, most don't, and unfortunately, continue to speak at great length whenever the mood hit's them.
Say "I'm sorry your twits." and be done with it.
Apologies are manipulative in nature, in that they usually serve no other purpose than to make the person who screwed you over or insulted you, feel better about having been an ***. It does no one any good anyway so why bother... just get over it!
You Twit!
There... now Karma brought it back around to you... happy?

Sometimes to apologize is not to apologize at all. It's kind of the same saying as pick your own battles - in regards to arguements.
If this were a party in which you were physically there - then I'd give other advice. Yet if this was an online forum - then let it go, I'm sure they have. Hell, half those people were probably drunk or on meth. Do you think they are really still thinking about what a jerk you may have been?
Probably not. They are probably walking the dog, going grocery shopping, watching the kids, or still asleep.
If you do this in person than simply say, "Sorry about the other night, I was wrong. So anyway, ......."

Go back and personally apologize to everyone that you called a twit, and it's okay, you shouldn't hate yourself for doing that, because everyone gets a little out of control at times, and hopefully most people weren't that offended, as twit isn't the worst insult in the world.
Anyways, good luck, and I hope everyone accepts your apology.

Try, "I'm sorry". It works for me. I tend to make a lot of mistakes and a simple apology always works. By the way, I can be a twit at times, so I'm not too offended.

Just post another question and say you're sorry...but dude, don't beat yourself up. We all lose self-control at times. The other day I rudely criticized someone's lack of good grammar, thinking they were just lazy or ignorant...turns out English was their second language. The person wrote me and told me how rude I'd been...I felt like crawling in a hole lol...but I just admitted my wrong and apologized...everything's ok now. You're not a jerk; you just weren't thinking. I know I wasn't, when I wrote what I did. Don't hate yourself. We all do it. Just say you're sorry and if you truly mean it, then the ball is in other people's courts...you've done your part. :-) Then you can just move on!

And so god must hate you to induce such self loathing...
You would have to call me much worse than a twit to need to appologise.

We all make mistakes, dude. I wasn't one of the people you insulted but if I know human nature, most people will forgive and forget. Just do better next time at expressing your opinion in a less caustic way.

whats done is done, and cant be changed. time cannot be altered, an action cannot be undone, and the past cannot be erased. just let it go. but if you REALLY wanna make it up, go through the questions youve answered and message the people you called twits and appologize.
