A Yahoo search for "opossums" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 497,000 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek.

Good luck with your search.

Opossums are omnivorous...they'll eat just about anything. They seem to prefer cat and/or dog food, wet or dry, but are not above bird seed and garbage can fare. They are scavengers, so almost anything will do. If you are intent on feeding Opossums, I'd suggest a medium sized bowl of commercial pet food mixed with milk and covered with vegetable scraps. Remember they are wild, so place the bowl away from trafficked areas. If you want to observe your Opossums dining, place your bowl strategically in a dimly lit area where you can observe unobtrusively. Opossums can and will bite and often carry diseases, so be careful and do not approach them.
