The faintest known galaxy is a recently discovered dwarf galaxy in Boötes. I've only seen it called the Boötes Dwarf. It's not possible to actually count its stars, but its total luminosity is equal to 100,000 Suns.

I'm not sure what you mean. There are many galaxies with fewer stars than the Milky Way. The three closest are the Sagittarius Dwarf and the Greater and Lesser Clouds of Magellan.
