I need to know how can I be popular at my school you can't be popular by being your self you have to have a certain look and a certain way of dressing please help??

let me tell a memory of me.i had a crush on a guy who was popular in my old school.i found that he dated the most beautiful girls in our school and he didn't date them after the first one.i decided to ask for a date for me.but we didn't even know each other's names.so i decided to look like other girls in school.im beautiful too, as my friends say.they thought i could look nicer than they did if i want.i was little boyish.the popular girls were girly girls.i changed nearly everything about my appearence.my friends told me that i was really gonna get a date.and guess what??he told me that he saw me before and he had a crush on me because of my behaviours.he liked them because they were really from within.please darlin, tv is fulled with barbies.don't be one of them, i beg.they are trying to look like a barbie (just an example, i don't like barbie) because they don't have a real character.now, if you look at me, guys are waiting to have a date with me!i changed my school, i started to be myself.BEING YOURSELF IS ALL THAT YOU CAN DO.

If there's a certain look and way of dress that you have to have, just dress like that. Without knowing what part of the country you're from or what's popular at your school, I can't really be any more help...

Relax. When you strike up a conversation, don't always be wondering what the other person is thinking. Just let the conversation flow.Be assertive and outgoing. Get involved. One of the easiest ways to meet people is to participate in school activities, such as athletic teams, community service projects, or artistic groups. Take pride in your appearance. If you’re trying to attract people to you, being clean is a definite plus. Don’t think too hard. Hope this helps.

act as if ur rich make friends with the dorkiest person from the popular gang and then when u get into the click make frinds with the most popular one then her no2 n\will get jealous and blurt out all her secrets.make a geek or pervert who u can trust spread the rumors and she will lose her bearing and u will be left on the top.

I was never popular in school and the entire time i was there i wanted to be. But now that i look back the friends i had and the fun we had was even better then being homecoming queen or prom queen. Accept were you are in your life. And enjoy everything that happens.

please dont be like that...i swear you will look back and realize how dumb you were for wanting to fit in..being popular is retarded...everyones the same with different styles and ways..trust me the popular girls are the ones everyone talkes about and their the ones with all the drama. dont be like them.be yourself..and im not trying to sound like oprah..lol. but ive been there and done that..being popular is retarded...just have good friends around you and thats all you need.

If you try to fake it, people are going to know, and like you even less. You'll be like a "poser". So be yourself, and if they don't like you, it's there loss. Find your own group of friends that are into the same stuff you are, and just have fun. Popularity isn't everything.

Popularity fades. Instead be true to who you are. It's best to be comfortable in your own skin instead of trying to mold yourself into someone else just to be "popular".
