My uncle started this band with a bunch of his friends. He wasn't much of a musician, he's an artist and if you know anything about GWAR, you know the special effects and costumes. (He played on stage as the Sexecutioner but mostly worked behind the scenes on effects.) He's out of it now, been out of it for years, because their manager was a total slimeball then. His name is Chuck (Charles) Varga. Do you believe me?

Because no one else will.

I don't get it. I mean, he came from Charlottesville, he's my mother's brother, I just went up to see him and his wife Andrea. He has that gold record thing from selling all those albums. I've been proud of it (don't ask why) but no one will believe me. *tear*

The only concert that I ever went to was a GWAR concert in Jacksonville FL. some time back in like '93 or '94. They put on an awesome show. I had to wear earplugs in order to keep from getting my eardrums blown out, but it was well worth seeing the performance that they put on. It is much more then just the music, their shows tell a story and that is what made them so good. Thank your uncle for me for the great show. :-)

I suppose so. If your uncle really was in Gwar, he is completely and savagely insane!!!!!! Gwar sounds like something you would hear as you walk through the gates of HELLLLL!!!! Their music scares the F outta me. But then again, we love to be scared out of our gourds!!!
