Don't listen to that idiot that told you to let her cry it out. My daughter slept through the night when she was 2-4 months old. She's 12 months now and still doesn't sleep through the night. I nurse her to sleep and put her in her crib. She usually stays there for a few hours then she wakes up. I then put her in bed with me and nurse her every time she wakes up, we both get better sleep that way. When she is cutting a new tooth she gets up a lot more in the night. Good luck!

The best thing to do do is get up and walk around with her, Because if you start nursing her to sleep it will be terrible on her teeth when they begin to grow in. She is probably going through a growth spirt right now...Hang in there momma and if you do decide to breast feed her throughout the night start brushing her gums with the baby tooth gel and the thumb brush...Best of luck to you!

My son started doing the same thing around this age, so I think it is a stage they must go through. Sorry to hear that you are going through it as well. But, the good news is, that it will all be over usually around 12 months....nobody told us that just because they start to sleep, does not mean they continue to sleep.....laughing! Good Luck!

There was a book called "Solving Your Child's Sleep Problems" that I got back in 1989. It helped us with our son not going back to sleep. You might be able to find it at Amazon or in the library.

I would just let her cry herself to sleep.
My daughter is 3 months old and has fought sleep for weeks now. I just let her cry herself back to sleep and she normally sleeps all night.
Good Luck!

She is probably teething.
There are certain times in a baby's life where everything seems to change. Teething tends to be one of them. Just sooth her the best you can for this too will pass. :o)

Would you think about giving her a pacifier...it may very well solve your problem.
