Okay, I'll try. I asked a simliar question to this one and mostly got rude responses back, but in my opinion, I think the high school years are the best and worst years of your life b/c as you know, there will be a lot of fights, misunderstandings, enemies, and jealousy going on. For the good things, you'll probably meet your future husband or wife and make new friends and lots of aquaintences! This is my first year of high school and as of right now, I'm trying to the best out of it, although I can't wait 'til I graduate and be on my own. But, there's never anything that beats being at home with your parents and not paying a single bill! ;~)

High school years were good, but college years were better, and graduate school the best. Those have been the people I still call, still see and still consider friends.

Course there were positives all along the way in each - in high school it was being part of marching band on the flag corps (we had some adventures); undergrad was living on my own, away from home, and sitting down in front for soccer games, heckling the other team; and in graduate school it was being with others that had the same goals in mind.

Having my son, though, tops it all. Single mom, so don't know about family life in the getting married sense, but he is absolutely (and I tell him this) the bestest thing that's ever happened to me.

My high school years were no way close to the best years of my life. I hated it and how could I say that something I dreaded and something that was mandatory by law was the best, there's no way in hell. As a high schooler I was a confused teenager, the others around me were confused, the teachers had rules and personally I don't like to follow rules and I didn't like authority at all. True I graduated top of my class regardless of the fact I never had a locker, never had a book, and roamed the halls every chance I could get.

The best part of my life was by far graduation. Not the start, or the middle of the stupid speeches of the class of 2001, not even walking across the stage or tossing the hat. The best part was when it was over and I high tailed my butt outta that gym. Walked out of those double doors and ran to the car. I was finally free and finally to do as I miss without rules and restrictions or mandatory schooling from boring teachers who thought smoking in the bathroom or making out in the halls was a bad thing. I don't miss it one bit and the best memory of high school was the moment I left for good and told em all to kiss my @$$!!!!!!!!!!

They were not the best years of MY life because I was too shy. College were the best years of my life because I came out of my shell and started meeting people and have all my best buds today from that time in my life. HS should be the best but only if you make them that way. Don't be shy, be involved and you are not looked down on if you do not have a job you can concentrate completely on school and extra cirric activities Oh if I had to do it over again I am happy my daughter is outgoing

I think they will in no way compare to my 8th grade year! That was the best year I had ever had! I think college will be the best years of my life. I will get to meet alot of new people, I'll be on my own in the "real world" and I'll get to have a dorm room that I decorate!!! I'm very excited about doing that!!! High school seems like a huge social pit. People are way too concerened with where they fit in and if what they are wearing makes them look good.

quickly up... severe college became the worst time of my existence. i became consistently nervous approximately no count if or not i could have the potential to get into any stable universities. I had to artwork my butt off in all my instructions just to establish i might desire to safeguard a definite everyday. there have been such rather some expectancies that folk set on me. instructors and fogeys. The gifted courses made me sense like i wasn't stable sufficient. The essays for English have been on thoroughly bogus matters. Bogus = boring. The books extraordinarily plenty sucked. not something made the adrenaline race with the aid of my veins. of direction you could argue that top college isn't meant to get you excited. yet to tell you the reality, it is going to. getting to understand might desire to be an thrilling element. you may desire to sense excited which you're fairly going to get someplace in existence after 3 or 4 grueling years. however the only exhilaration i've got been given became understanding i could be performed quickly. In college, you're on your person. You the two ensue or you do not. and that's wicked. No expectancies. different than those you place on your self.

It should be, but unfortunately mine was not. My mom remarried when I was 9, had two kids, and her and her new husband partied. Always. He was abusive and so she partied with him to keep him happy and from beating her. I would be left with her two kids for sometimes weeks at a time from the time I was 11 until I was a sophomore. I would have to call my grandma to get groceries in the house.

Luckily she ended up divorcing him, and is so much a better person now!

Looking back, I wish I would have said something to get all three of us out of that situation (us kids that is)

So for all the people who answered that they are the careless and carefree years of a persons life, not for everyone they are not.

I deffo believe that highschool days were the best.
You never know this untill you reach about 19-20.
When your at school all you get day in day out is bare jokes, get into troble, detension, ect.
It's the time of your life when you are truly happy with not a care in the world, no responsibilties.

I think highschool might be the best years of my life. You get to walk from building to building, use phones in between classes, go to the Varsity Football games with all your friends, be with your friends, make new ones, and join lots of activities and clubs. I'm starting in 2 days & I think it'll be great.

well i'm still in high school but i would hate to think they're going to be the best years of my life" thats pretty much saying your going to give up and be non social from the moment you graduate i would think college be a nicer pinnacle anyways you get to let go of all that high school drama and confinement have time to find your pathway and start a whole brand new chapter in your life- life should get sweeter by the day if you sit there and revel in those "glory days" you're going to end up the drunk dude at the bar who's still single or the middle aged chick who goes to reunions to find her ex boyfriend and try to hook up again...just make everyday the best day
