I know it's a fictional town in the state of new york, and I used to think it was way upstate but now I know that's not possible. George Bailey jumps in what looks like an ocean when he tries to kill himself, and if it's not an ocean it's the hudson. Which means this is probablly rockland county or long island. Anyone know?

Bedford Falls is the fictional city in Frank Capra's 1946 cinematic classic It's a Wonderful Life. It is a relatively small town, presumably in upstate New England.

The name of the town is likely a combination of neighboring cities, Fall River (formerly River Falls) and New Bedford. However, these cities are in Southern New England but are located near several small towns such as Rochester and Carver.

Jeez, you disregarded Boy George. What smells, sells. a useless ringer for numerous brit fashion, they ripped it off from yanks. His large hit "i'm Eighteen," got here out in seventy one. the purely album Bowie released contained in the 60's had him mouthing Anthony Newly and carrying a sad-looking beatlesque shag. He did not even aspect into the glam rock crap until eventually his terrible significant Tom component got here out in 1969. And he did not positioned on a gown on Saturday nighttime stay for almost a decade after.

George jumped in a river - remember, he jumped off the bridge.
And the Hudson isn't the only river in New York, believe it or not.

Bedford Falls, however when Clarence grants George Bailey's wish ("I wish I had never been born"), it becomes Potterville.
