Well.. YES and NO.. It is like breeding a Great Dane dog with a Collie.. the puppy will be a mixture of the two breeds.. It will be a different type but you cannot call it a different breed.. It would still be a mutt

only if the fish mate together, then the "new" type of fish will be any ordinary one- a reagular "mutt" fish (like the other guy said)
