Okay so its not that bad... Yes, Cramping does hurt and it stinks when u wanna go swimming... but dont listen to the first person about the masterbating thing... unless u want bloood all over ur finger.. besides if its ur first time.. then ur what? 12 u dont wanna masterbate.. Trust me..
Im 16 i know how it is.. but best thing to do is just chill at home.. the first time is kinda weird... u dont wanna run,or lift anything heavy.. and since its ur first time i wouldnt reccomend going out with Friends.. just in case u have a leak or something that could be very embarassing.. so id stay at home the first time... and if u need anything my im is babyaj2009...

Congratulations. If this is your first time, use pads and change frequently. You can use tampons later, and they must also be changed frequently. Your cycle should last about 5 days, sometimes shorter or longer. If you feel like crap, and have abdominal cramping, take a hot bath (really hot) to ease them. Remember the next time, to reduce your salt intake one week prior to bleeding. That will help your body retain less fluid in it;s tissues (which causes cramping). Do not let yourself get dehydrated, or your flow will become darker and last longer because it will move more slowly. Masturbating to orgasm also helps cramping and speeds things along. You can go to the doc and get out on the pill, which also eases the symptoms like cramping, nausea, and back pain.
