I have a 25 gallon with 2 goldfish 1 crowntail betta, 1glass catfish, and a pleco. my pleco keeps trying to suck on the goldfish, and that's causing stress. Now they have clamped fins sometimes and have Ick on there tail. My betta is also getting Ick, i'ts not as bad as the gold fish. and the glass catfish and pleco are fine. I can't move the pleco because i have another tank with 2 big goldfish in it and one with a whole bunch of guppies and a chinese algae eater in it and my last tank where using to breed my other crowntail in. So i need to know how to get rid of Ick, quickly. And don't put stupid answers.

There's an Ick treatment you can buy at Petco that works pretty well. You'll have to treat the whole tank, though. The problem with Ick is that it is really hard to get rid of. That was the main source of problems with fish I had before. It is a parasite, so it's just hard to cure. The anti-ick medication should help, though. Good luck.

OK - First things first.
Keep the fish with the Ich/Ick in the tank they are currently residing in (unless you can designate one of your tanks as a hospital tank - meaing no gravel). If they are also experiencing clamped fins they may have another parasite going on as well as the Ich/Ick. Here is what to do:
1. Read this - it will give you all the info you need on treating the Ich/Ick...
http://aquafacts.net/wiki/index.php/Ich
It sounds like it's in the second stage (which is not vulnerable to meds just yet so don't worry). You can get started with the Evaporated Sea Salt first. Get Dr. Fishwell's stuff - it's the best and also lower in price.
2. Visit this site...
http://www.virbacpets.com/
Click on the product linked called "Mardel", then go to "Product Catalog" on the left frame, and then click on "Antibiotics". The second link in there is for a product called "Maracyn-2". You will need to use this along with another product called "Maracide Concentrate". These 2 products are safe to stack (meaning to use at the same time), and do not contain any Copper in them (don't even use Copper products - I know a lot of people swear by them, but once they are used - they will always be in the fish you used them on - just too nasty of a possibility in my mind). Also - the link for the Maracide Concentrate is in the link just below that first one - click the link called "Antiparasitic" and then the bottom or 3rd link is the description for you on the Maracide Concentrate.
You are now well armed with this info I have provided you. Good luck , and do not worry - you will beat this (all hobbyist will experience this problem during their time of keeping fish).
Good luck!

Your tank IS overcrowded.
The rule for goldfish
Baby-juvenile fancy goldfish need 10 gallons PER fish. (orandas, ryukins, moors, faintails, ect)
Baby-juvenile long bodied goldfish need 20 gallons PER fish. (comets, commons, shubunkins)
Adult goldfish need 50 gallons PER fish because they get 12-14 inches.
Goldfish SHOULD NEVER be housed with warmwater tropicals.
Bettas, glass catfish, plecos need the water temp to be 78-80 degrees F. Goldfish need the water to be colder because they have primitive gills that require high amounts of dissolved oxygen in the water. The cooler the water the more dissolved oxygen it holds, the warmer the water, the less oxygen it holds. They also have different dietary needs and goldfish get big enough to eat smaller fish.
Goldfish also excrete too much ammonia for tropicals to handle. Bettas and glass cats are REALLY sensitive to water quality. Plecos also excrete alot of ammonia and they develop a taste for the slimecoat on goldfish and they will kill goldfish. (it happened in our big indoor pond) Plecos need alot of green algae aswell as supplementation with cucumber, zuccini, shrimp pellets, broccoli, drift wood, algae wafers, and romaine lettuce.
Plecos and glass cats are SENSITIVE to medications. All fish have the parasite ich, it only comes out when the fish are stressed. Ich looks like little salt spots. I suggest you find new homes for the fish because u clearly havnt done any research on the specific needs of the fish and you just tossed them all together and the fish are going to die because of your ignorance.

well first of all your tank sounds over crowded and a pleco can reach a size of 2 feet easy how big is your pleco now secondly you need to do frequent water changes at least 15-25% every couple of days and go to the pet store and get medication and keep doing your water changes also maybe aqaurium salt will help good luck to you
