Based on our current understanding of how the universe works. the answer would be no. Photons, which light is made of is, as far as we know, massless. Our understanding is that objects with mass cannot exceed the speed of light. And of course, we and all that we can construct has mass.. Only some undiscovered technology could possibly change all that.

If you consider Einsteins famous equation E=mc^2
E is energy, m is mass and c is the speed of light. This suggests that the energy required to reach the speed of light increases at an exponential amount, meaning that it will require more energy than could ever be used.
No, I'm afraid we won't.

simply speaking, not according to our current knowlege (newtonian phsics). in order to accelerate anything with mass to the speed of light, we will need an infinite source of energy.
now wormholes are another thing, which will allow you to "travel" between two places "faster" than the speed of light if normally travelled through regular space, but that's an entirely different conversation

unfortunatley not any time soon. Our current understanding is that nothing can travel faster the speed of light. Now reacing the spped of light may be possible, but not for another couple hundred years; if then and if we don't blow ourselves up before hand. We will most likely need to finnd away to bend light or time to actually travel thousands of lightyears in seconds. Beat the realativity theory so to speak..

Hopefully but I dont think it will be anytime soon! That would be one hell of a plane ride though...
Do neutrinos not travel faster than the speed of light in water?

If you could travel psychically thru time and space wouldn't that be safer ,quicker and cheaper? Remember the Movie Brainstorm with Christopher Walken? Imagine being able to go on vaction without ever having to physically leave your house.

No. This is because as you approach the speed of light your mass will become infinite.

Probably. Besides, we already invented the SuperSonic Transport, which I think goes faster than the speed of sound.

"Will we be able to....", this question has a answer- YES.
although ur question cannot be answered accurately, because im not a foreteller, but humans can do anything....they have been able to do anything.....everything they thought about....
although it is currently impossible, because nothing has been identified to travel even with a significant fraction of light...so light is assumed to be the fastest......
500yrs earlier maybe humans thought that " will we be able to fly ever "....and now we see everyone fly....

no, it is impossible. get familiar with special relativity. It is not just a matter of putting on a big enough engine.
