As far as I can see there is nothing wrong with this question which was deleted in my view, unnecessarily... so I will answer it...

We are no more a target than any other non Muslim country. You hear more about it because you are in the UK.
Also, it is because Muslim Extremists are not deported in case it infringes their "human rights". In their own country they would be executed for preaching hate. The authorities have the power to get rid of the ringleaders but fail to do so in case there is a backlash from the liberal limp wrist-ed lefties who would gladly see this Great Britain of ours go down the pan and become just a bastardised culture of all that is bad with the world.
A multicultural society eh.... I don't remember ever agreeing to this. We have all been sold down the river by B-liar and the rest of his degenerate leeches.
It is about time we stood up to these politicians.

Apologies for posting this twice, it was accidental. I tried to change the Po at the end to politicians and it reposted it as a new question.

Extremist - Al Qaeda tell us why we are the target a) foreign policy the war in Iraq and b) As an ally of Israel and U.S. They are
waging there own puny war on the West whilst the West wages war on the Middle East. If the extremist war is a defence of the community of Muslims then the Extremist war is puny by comparison. Bigger than actual efforts and actual member ship is the fear of extremism which is manufactured wholesale for war which is about oil and security of the west.

There are two axis. The axis of Evil as coined by Bush and the West.

I am British and I am fed up with some people who see what is our foreign policy as American when actually it is essentially British and it benefits Britiain irrespective of whether most of the country would rather do without war.

Now after British and American intervention Afghanistan and Iraq are uninhabitable lots of suicide bombings being reported but less about rape and general lawlessness. After that Lebanon two months ago was a prospective holiday attraction has been bombed back to the 1980s to its last war over two kidnaps by a group who are not the elected or official representative of Lebanon. None of this was denounced by the US and Britain.
Now we talk about Iran and Syria and even Jordan as we speak iswalking into this crisis by definition unobligatory.

With all this going on what is happening in our countries (America and the U.S.) the continual perpetuation of fear of another terrorist attack by terrorists??

I agree with the fact the Britain has for many years failed to deal with extremists and deport many of them who want to live here but not learn or adapt and some nutters who can just about put the language together to spread vitriol.

Not only UK is a target, but even muslim countries that are themselves from this extremists. This people are extremists because of their views, which is of course diverts from normal human beings. Turkey, Jordan and a host of muslim countries has been bombed by this people. The problem with UK is that the government needs to keep a tab on these people who are from Middle East and Pakistan, and arrest those clerics who preach extremism.

I think it's a problem of our own making. Most of those who have carried out, or attempted to carry out, attacks in this country are home grown. Perhaps we don't see it so much in other European countries because they don't have such large Asian immigrant populations as the UK, courtesy of our age of Empire. The UK media certainly don't help in this regard. There are many other countries with troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, but one seldom hears about them in the UK media.
I don't quite understand why "we" get the blame for what's happening in a country like Iraq. As I see it the basic problem is that one group of Muslims (Suny?) is trying to ethnically cleanse the other lot (Shia?) and vice-versa. Saddam kept a lid on this by being pretty ruthless.

You are spot on. But they will dislike your answer more than your question. But who cares, it is the truth. Until very recently, this country and the EU have escaped terrorist acts because we have being following a policy of appeasement. So that it has not been necessary for terrorists to take action because they were/are achieving their objectives by stealth. Although the Iraqi war may have acted as a conduit toward the commencement of terrorist acts, only a naive fool would believe that we would not have eventually had to face conflict, but it would have been on a much larger and consolidated scale.

Extremists have been in the UK for a long time or atleast N Ireland. Brits are very familiar with terrorism. This is nothing new.

Britain is a target in the same way all "infidels" are targetted... Unless you succumb to their religious views you are a target. Take France for example...

Dont you remember the IRA and how many people they maimed and killed. Its not to do with other countries at all, its just to do with radical people wanting to be more powerful.

I was trying to answer it too, and posted another rephrased question. I don't know why they removed the first question anyway.
