I have been married for almost 19 yrs. For most of the 19 yrs I have worked pt & ft. At times he said that I'm not making enough money. A yr ago, my dad gave me $50k when he sold his house. I paid $18k of our debt and bought a family car for $13k. I also wanted to buy a new bed, table & chairs--things that we needed and take the kids to Disneyland and Toronto to visit my family-(havent done any yet). Hubby talked me into putting the balance into a money manager acct that makes interest. Last Nov, he quit his job (he's had 4 diff jobs in 5 yrs) and has been "playing the stock market" ever since. I started working ft again last Dec (how the heck can you quit a job before Xmas?). I wanted to make sure my 2 kids had a nice holiday. The market hasn't been doing well and the balance of "my" account is getting lower. There is just over $8k left. I still cook, grocery shop, do laundry & shop for the kids, clothes, haircuts, eye & dentist appts etc. cause he won't. I need some advice! HELP!

that money was a gift to YOU and he's pi@@ing it away! Cut off his access to it TODAY! If he bitches tell him to get a job...if he still whines tell him not to let the door hit him in the a@@!
You need to have some money for emergencies, i.e. IF you were to lose your job, someone has unexpected medical expenses or whatever. That is NOT monopoly money & it's SO WRONG for him to treat it that way!
GOOD LUCK to you!

Gril remove the 5 of the rest of the money and put it away in a acct for yourself and the 3 that is left take your children to a vacation
if he wants to play the stock market he needs to get himself a job
so he can have his own money
my advise is for your future and the children
at this point you have been with this man for 19 years
that is a lot of years, he needs to be more considarate to you and your children
P.S : What is woman #1 killer
not cancer or heartattack
but our so call Love Ones (our Husbands/Children )
my second advise is take care of yourself

Take the remaining out and put it into an account that just has your name on it. Your hubby wants things handed to him on a silver platter. People like him are lazy and greedy and want all the money given to them instead of working for it. Sorry, but you're better off without this man.

Pull the money and replace it where he can't touch it. Give him 30 days to find a job or get out. The kids need stability. And, you deserve a vacation!

Ditch his ***. He needs to grow up and realize that he has a FAMILY to help support, it's not just him that could go broke.
