the danger is that you may have already ovulated this month so it may not work as a contraceptive this month (the pill prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation). If you are absolutely positive that you can't have become pregnant in the past few days you can start taking it tomorrow, but use extra precautions for at least 7 days. If there is the slightest possibility you could have become pregnant in the past few days you need to wait and start taking it on the first day of your next period.

You will have to wait until the first day of your next period to begin taking the Pill. The pills work along with your menstrual cycle. Then each time you finish a month's prescription you will have your period. Hope this helps.

* Wait untill your next period!
* Take the first pill on the first day of bleeding.
* Take for 21 days then stop.
* Start the new sachet 7 days later.
* You will not be covered for contraception until you have been taking it for a month.......So use other precautions till then.
Happy Love Making!!

If you start it on the first day of your period, you are protected against pregnancy immediately.
You can start it any time but you would have to use another form of contraception for 7 days as you would not be protected in this time.
