I'm not asking which one to buy, just which one is better overall.
And please, try to be constructive. It's really annoying when someone
supports one system but can't give very much reasoning as to why.

It depends on what you consider to be better...if you're into action games, or role playing games, you would be more suited with the PS2. If you're really into racing, or other sports, you would want to have the XBox. Graphics wise, XBox is a little better, but since it's newer than PS2, they don't have as large a library of games, giving you less options. It all depends on your preferences. As far as online gaming is concerned, XBox is head and shoulders above PS2...but we'll see what happens with the PS3.

it depends on what you are looking for: While the graphic processor in the xbox is better (especilaly if it's the xbox 360), the PS2 has a bigger game base (especilly since it's backwards comapatble on everything except the memory card).
Personally, i like the PS2 better because I like the games better. While graphic quality is important, I find that the game selection on the Xbox (aside from Halo) is severely lacking.

i say ps2 because ihave got one and ps2s wee made before xboxes so xbox is a bit of a copy plus xbox360 is out now so you would feel guilty buying the old one when the new one is out

well ps2 is better then xbox becuz in ps2 you will find a lot of games then xbox . like prince of presia , nfs all parts, wwe,gta, sanandrias, vicity , counter strike all parts.etc!!!
and it is also very cheap and good quality,it also has good graphics.

I say xbox cause the online experience is mush better and you dont need as mush games because of x box live. All you need is halo 2 and call of duty and other few games and you are set.âº
