i was at baseball practice, and i was batting, i got hit by a pitch on my upper left leg, it really really hurts and there is not mark there, this happened about a week ago, anyone know how long the soreness is supposed to last when getting hit by a 75 mph fastball

i dont wear protection, only helmet, but this wasnt in the shins it was in the upper leg, like the outer thigh

You probably, got hit in the muscle, injured the tissues around the muscle. try applying some heat to the injured area. How long the soreness last depends on the individual. Usually, the soreness goes away in about 10 days, if taken care of properly. U should have applied ice after being hit.

The higher up the leg you go, the more fat that there is. If it had hit you in the calf, it wouldn't have hurt as much. Think about it as if someone gave you a dead leg, why can't you get a dead arm...because its more muscle and bone. You probably just suffered a hip inflammation, which is soreness right below and around the hip, and it takes about 1-2 weeks to completely heal.

well I got hit by a 75mph fastball in the head but i was ok it didn't hurt at all.but thats because I had a helmet.You should wear a shin gaurd you know like the one DJ wears.

you might have broken through tissue, you have to contact a doctor or try this medicine , well its a cream that cures sorenesses called mineral ice.
