If you're in an area where there are high-rise office buildings, check with the property manager to see whether they do any sales events where vendors come in, set up a table and show off their wares to the tenants.
Our building does a book sale before Thanksgiving every year. It's when folks start thinking about Christmas shopping, so some sellers do pretty well.
