If you have Windows XP you do not need anything else to burn a cd. Using Windows Explorer drag all the files you want to burn to the window of the burn CD. You can also right click a file and "send to" the burn cd. Click on the "burn cd" option at the top of the left pane of the cd drive window. Follow the instructions. A music CD can hold about 12 songs in music cd format. A data cd can hold over 250 songs in MP3 format.

Windows can b really funny about burning anything that carries a tag. And I cant go into the details about creating a Ghost Optical Drive 'cos it's ILLEGAL ha,ha! Bt u need to get a copy of 'Alcohol'. I managed to burn Vista using that. Otherwise Nero 7 is gud 4 flashin C.D.'s Gud Luk! Andy.
