Dear dog-You both need some serious therapy and/or AA and anger management classes. Its a disaster in the making, believe me. It can only get worse, and then someone will end up dead or hospitalized or imprisoned for life. It happens every day, and if you keep it up you two will be no exception. You two are made for each other. You're not well, and you're like two runaway trains colliding. Everyone in your path will get hurt or killed. I hope you are able to face your problems, and I don't mean to be mean. I just know what I'm talking about. Before you can have any kind of a healthy, adult relationship with anyone you have to understand yourself, and its obvious that neither one of you has a clue. Best of luck to all concerned, and lay off the booze!

If you truly not want to repeat the incident
take to a relationship counsalor
sometime we think that it will never happen again
but it will because
relationships are full of stress also noted that a 15 years old was involved his mother maybe forgiving but mark my word the 15 years will not be so for his sake show him that you two are getting help because you love each other and want not to make the same mistake
Good Luck

You say that you want to work it out and that you THINK she does too. You need to be ABSOLUTE. You need to ask her if she wants to.
A day at a time may be a bad idea. You still need to plan events with each other. Ask her if she wants to go out to eat this day or that day, or see a movie or something.
Best thing: Dont drink, either of you. The two of you obviously cant handle alcohol so just give it up.

no relationship that results in violence is no good. By experience, if it happened once, it will happen again.TRUST ME!!!! It sounds like she started it so why did she not go to jail? If you love someone you never hit, even if it involves alcohol. I think she has the problem and if you take her back you will spend lots more time in jail.

If the two of you are going to try to make your relationship work, it's important for both of you to go to counseling to learn how to communicate and deal with your problems without resorting to violence.

she came back around after the incident that says she still love you and wants it to work...maybe you and her can make a fresh start. It does't seem like she took her friends advice to heart.
