I liked him...he was so funny and so excited about what he did...it's really sad...my heart goes out to his wife and children :(

I liked him and found him entertaining , I was shocked by his behavior regarding holding his baby when feeding a croc once but he made a poor judgment call that day and since all turned out well I won't demean him for that, we all sometimes make a dumb mistake. I feel for his family , he just often pushed the envelope a bit too far concerning safety.

Steve was a great person and a greatly known international icon. He taught many children as well as adults with knowledge about animals we knew little about. He also provided us with many laughs. Steve in my book could be summed up in 3 words, "what a dumbass"! He was awesome and his death is truly disbelieving! I can't believe that it was a stringray, a fish, that took his life instead of a huge croc that he loved. He will be missed! A hero has passed. :(
My prayers go out to his wife, son, and daughter as well as his family and the millions of fans that loved him.

i liked him...he was kinda nutty, but in a good way. he seemed like a genuinely nice guy, who will be missed. i feel sorry for his family...
