Who else was shocked to read that Steve Irwin had died? I am saddened by this because I enjoy watching him help others to understand wild animals. My children and I love to watch Croc. Hunter. He died by the barb of a sting ray...as the paper said he died doing what he loved. He will be missed

Yes I kinda start to Tear Up when I read the replies from your question and mine I just posted, I will MISS him DEARLY, and I think when you live your life doing what you LOVE to do we all know HE ENJOYED HIS JOB, But I am sure even he did not think in a million years he would go this way, BUT his job that he enjoyed was so dangerous even he knew that, But because he loved to entertain us teach us about the many creatures on this earth and beneath the sea. He did what he wanted to do, He made us Laugh and some of us felt that he was crazy but all in all He will be remembered because of who he was, MAY GOD BLESS AND BE WITH HIS FAMILY, Because they will Miss him the most. Thanks for posting your question feel free to look mine up Under News/Events, AND TAKE CARE. Toni

A stunner. I grew up watching Steve Irwin's programme every week in Malaysia. He was such a jovial and spontaneous character. He was also my mum's favourite TV personality. He will be missed very much. Rock inside the ground Steve.

I was shocked indeed. My whole family will miss him. He was liked by all ages. My sympathy goes out to his family. He has done alot of service to our world. He has taught children alot of information on wild animals. Steve loved what he was doing. And died of what he loved doing. His body died ,but not his spirit or soul.

He has been a part of our family for 14 years. All 4 of my kids grew up with Steve Irwin. He started his career when my oldest was just 7 years old.It is a sad for alot of people. But even more so for his wife and kids. They are too young to remember all that he did and all that he affected. My only hope is that Terri has kept a movie library of her husbands work,so the kids will see how special their dad was and see the truly amazing work that he did.

I was saddened by Steve's death but not shocked. He was well aware that he was playing with fire so to speak but he died doing what he loved to do. He will be well missed.

Saddened but not shocked. He constantly put himself in harm's way, though I always thought he knew enough about the animals he was working with to make it look like he was risking his life, but to not actually be putting himself in as much danger as it appeared to us.

He was a very likeable guy, and probably made people have more respect and affinity for animals and nature in general. He will certainly be missed.

Yea I know. i found it out from my sister. I think that he was great to watch and helped me to do reports in school and stuff. I agree that he died doing what he loved, yet he was still young and had lots of life in him. He will be greatly missed.
