He was killed while filimg a new documentary of the coast of Sydney, i believe..or possibly Melbourne.
He was killed by a Stingray, a type of 'flat fish; that has spines on its tail. Its very rare that anyone is killed by one, only one other person in Australian history has been killed by a Stingray, at that was in 1944. He was hit in the chest and the spine punctured his heart, he died before doctors could get to him.

He ventured too close to a sting ray and when stung the barb on it's tail pierced his heart . He was dead when they got him ashore to the waiting helicopter. It was a fluke because rarely does a sting result in death.

he swam too close to a stingray, and the spine on the end of it's tail went to sting him, and it weunt up under his ribcage and pierced his heart.

STEVE MILLER - really. spoke of him in live performance about 10 years in the past - large, in basic terms large. All of his songs are so singable, too - which i like!! LOL "Fly Like An Eagle" is solid, yet i like "The Joker" and "Jet Airliner" the most acceptable. Eddie funds is solid - in basic terms no longer as solid!

he swan on top of a sting ray and its stinger-barb thing punctured his heart. thats just some bad luck
