to become a network specialist u have to have a good knowledge desktop as well as server knowldge...
means knowldge of MSCE and CCNA
then try to agin knowldge in
CCNP
CCIE or pix firewall for security.

its better to go for a career consulling in one of the institute .which is offering such advance course in networking
