Well, I'm 25 and my sister is 16. We do things together like go to the mall and drive around and she comes to visit me. I can say that we are friends too. Yes you can talk about your lives but there are a lot of things she might do that you can't or shouldn't be doing now. It depends on how you know her, how long you have known her for, and whether or not your parents think it's ok. If I had a 15yo daughter, I don't think I would let her go and hang out with any 23yo girl. It all depends on how you know her.

no! what could you possibly have in common except for some small talk? as far as age goes, they're MILES apart, the fifteen year old is definately looking for some role model which the 23 year old can only find cool and keep up for a short time until she begins to find her clingy "friend" annoying. now, don't get me wrong, exceptions do make the rule, but only once every 30 million moons.

How would you meet women of 23 that is not in your family, and why would a 23 year old want to hang out with a 15 year old girl??? is she a big sister, or something? I would not let my kid hang with a 23 year old..

Friendship isn't about age, it's about kinship. At 9 I would visit my friends and end up having their mothers talk to me for hours about things. In most cases a relationship with that sort of age different is called a mentorship. It can be so very benefitial to the both of you. If she wants your friendship and you want hers, the details will work themselves out.

Oh yeah when i was 15 my best freind was 26.Unfortunately she took me to places i had no business being at.I got raped. She bought me alcohol and got me into clubs.I even dated a trucker freind of hers for a while it was a bad setup. If you are freinds because of a common hobby like music or Art and she does not encourage you to Drink or date much older men it can work. You need to keep your eyes open though because some women care more about impressing men than protecting you and she might impress them by bringing you around.Which will lead to trouble.

Sure it can. I'm 22 and my cousin is 14, and we both get along fine. I enjoy hanging out with her, and giving her advice on different things. But I will admit that I normally don't talk to girls this age.
