My opinion,,,, and the only one that matters to me at the moment,,,
We have NEEDS! They are very basic. Food, water, air,,, possibly clothing and shelter can be squeezed into the list. ALL ELSE is WANT.....
Love, on the other hand, might fit into a NEED category of its own, and be the essence of all WANT. I personally feel that with no "FEELINGS", no Emotion, no defining expressions of LOVE, no matter how specific, abstract, or general,,,,we as a species would eventually perish.
No matter how you, or anyone else defines LOVE it must GIVE each of you something? Hopefully you OFFER something that can be described as LOVE as well.

We, as humans, feel the need to have a mate. When your attracted to someone, and over time build a bond of trust, friendship, and then love. Those that say "love at first sight" are really in lust, which is a desire to have. Most relationships that begin with a physical lust 1st do not last if there is nothing else, Like common things, friendship, and trust.

Because it is human nature to love, and seek love. Once you find true love, you feel more complete as a person. And it is Human Psychology.

It is a basic human need. Just like breathing, eating and sleeping. Studies have shown that babies who do not get enough loving attention will not thrive.
Love and wanting to be loved is universal.

It is a wonderful feeling that is experienced by each one of us some time or d other.Love is not applicable to boyfriends & girlfriends only;it exists in every relationship.All of us need love,it makes life easier...

simple we are human we need to feel cherished and share our feelings etc with someone.
There is no meaning to life without care, affection and love.
