Stephen Robert "Crocodile Hunter" Irwin (22 February 1962 – 4 September 2006) was an Australian naturalist, wildlife expert and television personality. He was best known for the television program The Crocodile Hunter, an unconventional wildlife documentary series which he hosted with his wife Terri Irwin that was broadcast worldwide. He also owned and operated the Australia Zoo at Beerwah in Queensland with friend William Rollo and his wife. You will be sadly missed Steve, but never forgotten.
You were a wonderful person, teaching us all to show respect to animals. They ahve feelings and have pain.
You brought a light into this world, not just for your fellow naturalists, and admirers, but your family and friends.
You passed doing what you loved, and your life was a happy one.

He is dead. I cant believe it. I read that this morning and my breath caught. Like i didnt know him personally but its weird to know that hes dead because i actually really liked that guy. His daughter and wife...the poor darlings. They must be going through so much pain right now. I am not sure what i would say to him....but i admired him alot.

I'd say thank you. You have meant so very much to my children. I've looked at a life-size cut-out of you in our children's playroom for years. I am heartbroken that you were taken so soon. I grieve for your family, coworkers, and fans. You were admired by many, and will be missed. Thank you.

what can i say...i knew him only from the TV but he still showed me,showed us a lot of the wild life which is something significant he toughed a whole generation to respect and preserve nature WE WILL MISS YOU Steve

It's a shock, and I wonder if he would have wanted to go this way. I can imagine not, he has two young children who wont have their father anymore. I would say "I admire you for doing what you wanted to do."

I would say Thanks for all of your efforts on behalf of all wildlife. I'm sorry that you met an untimely end but I know that you died doing something that you loved.

It was truly sad news to hear of Steve's death this morning on the news. I would say to him.."God speed mate!" My condolences to his family and friends...
