yes, you definitely can. You can opt from a list of language subjects including indian and foreign languages. This also includes English literature. A number of successful candidates in the past have opted English literature as one of their optional. However you can not opt for two literature subjects as two optionals.For example,you cannot opt for english Literature and Hindi Literature both.
