i miss one but is it ok to take the pill of the other day?

i havent had sex yesterday....ill be having sex on sept 8 is that ok?...lol

carry on taking the pills, but be aware that you may have allowed ovulation so take other precautions for the rest of the month. I once had a friend who missed only 1 pill but she ovulated and got pregnant, the doc said she missed it and it allowed ovulation to occur
Intercourse leaves live sperm inside you for 72 hours (keen little things jus tkeep on searching), so don't just think of that day as the problem, it could include having sex in the days BEFORE you forgot the pill
If in doubt, go get a 'morning after ' pill from the pharmacy to bring on your next period.

Usually the only pills that have hormones in them at the last ones. If you miss a pill, the next day just take the one you missed and the current one.

Read the information packet that came with your b/c. Usually, if you forget to take a pill, you can take it as soon as you remember and you will be fine. For example, if you forgot to take it on a Monday and remembered on Tuesday, you would take Monday and Tuesday's pill both on Tuesday. The chances of you getting pregnant are small, but you might want to use protection just to be safe.

I wouldn't feel safe. I'd go to the pharmacy and get the "Morning after" pill and follow the directions. If you have trouble with the directions, ask the pharmacist. He/she is the most knowledgeable source you have about the medicines you wish to take. He or she can really help you.
