If so, I read that you may leave condolences at the Animal Planet website, under fan forums for "The Crocodile Hunter" and that they would get to the family.

Anything to do with animals aside, if you ever saw footage of Steve with his wife and children, it was obvious that they adored one another. My heart breaks for Terri and their children.

It would be a nice gesture if we could flood that board with messages of sympathy and caring. Idiots with criticism, now is NOT the time...if you don't have words of comfort to share with them, don't go there and post a thing and prove us to be the 'ugly Americans' that some think we are.

...OR I should have added, don't be an 'ugly Canadian' either, as stevewbcanada's insensitive post has reminded me. May you never know the pain of losing an adoring spouse in a tragic accident, anything to do with animals aside. The REAL tragedy here is the death of a loving husband and a devastated family that will never know what it is to see Daddy come home again.

Thanks for the info! When I heard about it this morning, I was shocked and saddened. He was a wonderful father and husband. Some may think what he did for a living was stupid and dangerous, but I don't. If people would research what he did they would see that he was helping, not hurting the animals.

Thanks for the info, I'm so upset about this, I can't stop crying. He was just incredible. He was so in love with his wife & family. Some people could only wish to have love like that in their lives. What a Horrible Tradgedy !!!!!!
