I was very upset to day to wake up and see on yahoo that he is died (okay im not that upset) but still what happend when did this happen????

I saw that too. He was swimming over the stingray and the barbed tail put a hole in his heart.

Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and conservationist known as the "Crocodile Hunter," was killed Monday by a stingray while filming off the Great Barrier Reef. He was 44.
Irwin was at Batt Reef, off the remote coast of northeastern Queensland state, shooting a segment for a series called "Ocean's Deadliest" when he swam too close to one of the animals, which have a poisonous barb on their tails, his friend and colleague John Stainton said.
"He came on top of the stingray and the stingray's barb went up and into his chest and put a hole into his heart," said Stainton, who was on board Irwin's boat at the time.

He was killed Monday Filming A series called the oceans deadliest, which is sad to see cause he was a great guy and his family will surely miss him

It's really sad for his family...But I know he loved what he did and if asked I'm sure he would of wanted to die doing what he loved best. It's really sad tho to be so young....Check out yahoo news to keep current on this.

Very sad... He was in the reef and stung by a sting ray, which is not normally fatal but they think that it punctured his heart.
