I can not believe this guy wasn't wearing like a shark suit;
I feel bad for his family.

By a Sting Ray the barb went right through his heart causing a hole.

The shark suit wouldn't have worked most likely. Do you know this for a fact he wasn't wearing one?
Yes, I was shocked when I turned on the TV this morning. Well, can't say I was "shocked", because what he did was a dangerous profession for obvious reasons, but it is still very sad. He had a great heart and personality. He loved his family, that's for sure. And he loved teaching people about animals and wildlife conversation.

Shark suits generally don't have long barbs with which they like to stab people. They have teeth, and the mechanism behind ripping someone apart is different than the one behind stabbing them. A shark suit might help you somewhat against a shark, but a sting ray is not a shark.

I thought it was Crocodile Dundee. But I don't think that a shark suit would have saved him - those things are so-o-o-o powerful, and shark suits don't even work that well on sharks.

that was definiately a shock to us all and we will miss him terribly. may god bless his soul and his family and friends who are in distress in such a horrble tragedy.

No, it would not have worked. They have tremendous force in their blows that can, and as you now know, do, kill people.
