Custom bike builder Billy Lane from Florida made a bike like this. The rear sprocket was the actual size of the radius of the rear wheel. I can't rememeber if he did a belt or chain setup, though. Reguardless, his design worked. Looks pretty sweet, too.

The motorcycle you are talking about was a prototype, but they had big problems with the gear ratio for the rear wheel. Also the bearings used weren't up to the high speeds, and the heat generated. They were from a CAT scan machine, I believe. Buell does make a motorcycle with the break on the outer rim, though.

between the funniest became this guy who became approximately 60, he appeared like a homeless guy or woman yet fairly had a place to stay. He needless to say had some psychological matters (yet i'm not making exciting of that). He walked all around and appeared completely satisfied. I observed him in a delightful's ice cream parlor sometime sitting on the counter. He became ingesting an ice cream cone, had it throughout his face, moustache, beard, and it in simple terms appeared so lovable through fact he did not care, he became in simple terms lovin' it!
