I dont't think so, but why not just burn your videos, pics, and music to cd or dvd??? Could save you lots of money. I've never been impressed with eMachines as far as speed, etc., so I have a hard time agreeing that you should spend any money upgrading an already too-inadequate machine.

But the process should be the same and it should be in your manual. Just set the jumper correctly, attach the correct ribbon cable and power cable. Good Luck

It is very easy....
Go to BIOS set up and make the new harddrive as secondary slave drive. Then go to command prompt . If there is a OS installed in your first HD then you can make extended dos parition of total of the new disk. There will be no problem. Use FDISK command to see the options. You can understand then all of them. If you cannot understand you can contact me.

Please work with jumper pins given on the hard disk.

least difficult: deploy a USB force. This additionally makes it trivial to flow the force to a distinctive computing device. If the computing device has any IDE connectors, you ought to apply one in each of them. in any different case, the plug-in SATA controller card is your appropriate wager. in case you have not got an open bay interior the computing device, you ought to apply eSATA to plug in an exterior SATA force.

you have not mentioned if it is a 'sata' or 'ide' hard drive.if it is an ide, you can add only one drive or maybe two(if u have only one cd drive).the process is pretty simple in case of both.these are plug and play devices(u just have establish a physical connection and the drive is detected by the os).
