The best way to remember Steve would be by his work in the exotic field adopted by him in the footsteps of his illustrious father. He died for what he lived for through his life and there can be no better way to retain his memory.

It hard to believe he is gone. I enjoyed his programmes a lot. He will be remembered in a wonderful way by many people. He knew his job was very dangerous but he had a great passion for it. I don't think he could have relaxed one day without commenting on some creature and lurching upon it. You could tell he was as cautious as could be with the animals he held- and aware of the danger which has us all sitting on the edge of the sofa. I think everyone will be thinking of his wife and two young children too. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

I'm sure since my TV news showed it this morning with him holding his baby while messing around with the crocodile, that will be how many pictures of him will be shown for weeks to come... the media always seems to take a sad situation and put the worse side in the publics eyes, just to sell their magazine's, stories, etc.
Hopefully that show only the good he did in life and what he taught us.

I bear in mind it replaced into complicated artwork Day weekend in the u . s . a .. My first concepts were that i replaced into no longer too bowled over as he ought to take unnecessary opportunities inclusive of his own existence. Now because of his boldness, his little ones ought to improve up without a father. If he ought to have taken time to imagine about such issues as that, perchance he should be nevertheless alive. I did like him and his instruct. He did good things to teach us about diverse animals, and made us more effective attentive to them. I omit him.

I think he was all of the above, and he had that down to earth quality. He treated animals and humans with respect. He always tried to teach the audience to respect nature and he will be missed. Sad to see him go this way, but at least he was doing what he loved.
